The art of selling art is an element of the art business that has eluded just about every artist in the game. This idea of the starving artist is nothing new. It has been around since the days of the Grand Masters. Nowadays it is even harder to sell original artwork in a world that is riddled with Art deficit Disorder (ADD). People are, many times, clueless about how much time, effort, and creativity goes into creating a one of a kind piece.However I do not put blame fully on any one party. I see that there are many factors that have influenced the way we see art. Ill be writing about these issues as I begin my journey in the world of professional art.
